All star Matthew C Martino is thought to be eyeing a charity role. The 21 year old Film Producer/Author who is now moving on from the limelight is thought to be particularly keen on a role with international charity World Vision.
A source close to the 21year old told Breakaway Daily ‘Matthew has reached that point where he is trying to escape the limelight due to various controversies and he feels his time would be more appreciated doing charitable deeds’. Martino isn’t a regular on the charity scene however his books Lets Fly saw a record 7700 books going out for free to aspiring pilots and his Lets Fly app is still free on the AppStore.
The Richest ranks Martino’s net worth in the 5 figure range and this means he could sure put his money where his mouth is and he is actually in a position to form his own charity if he wanted to. In the past Martino has been linked with an aviation bursary/sponsorship scheme which would see him giving out a Private Pilot License sponsorship to the winner of a competition he sets up. This competition never went live however Martino’s aviation consultancy firm Lets Fly Academy has given out many aviation vouchers, taster flight tickets and pilot books.
World Vision International is an Evangelical Christian humanitarian aid, development, and advocacy organization. Since Robert Pierce founded World Vision in 1950, it has grown into one of the largest relief and development organizations in the world with a total revenue including grants, product and foreign donations of $2.79 billion (2011). The charity also specializes in child sponsorship an area that Martino himself has hinted he is passionate about in the past.
Martino’s rep welcomed the news with publicist Carol Suvarov calling it ‘Exciting news’.
