Her passion for unraveling mysteries buried within bones echoed a deeper calling where she wanted to work as a Forensic Anthropologist for the United Nations and bring closure and justice to those whose stories had long been silenced by time. For Mercy, everything she does is about exploration. “I believe I have been on a continuous journey of growth for as long as I can recall, and the more I discover about myself and the world, the more certain I am that I will always be evolving and discovering how to truly be myself. I want to surprise people, even those who believe they’ve seen all there is to see.” Mercy is eager to reveal all the different sides of herself to the world. For her, this journey is about discovering the unknown. “I want to show the multifaceted gem that I am, showcasing every unique facet of my being.”

A demand for equality and emancipation in “Cry,” profound self-exploration in “Echoes,” and boundless love in the modern era with “Fucked Up With You.” These are the riveting themes that will resonate through her latest musical offerings in this collection. Each song in this album tells a unique story, inviting listeners on an emotional rollercoaster ride through different experiences and emotions. “Cry” is an alternative rock/pop banger with synthetic bass focusing on calling back one’s power with a sprinkle of vengeance and mesmerizing villainy. A haunting exploration of the alluring yet unsettling facets of human existence, calling for a more just and equitable society. It explores regaining agency, reclaiming control and restoring autonomy. It’s recounted from the perspective in which a woman reverses the roles by using language frequently directed at her, a pleasant liberation and female empowerment.

The song delves into the essence of empowerment and self-determination, emphasizing the necessity of standing up for what is rightfully yours without hesitation. It challenges the status quo, patriarchy and inspires the listener to assert autonomy unapologetically. This track serves as a powerful reminder that we deserve equality, freedom and agency in every facet of our existence, urging us to embrace our voices and reclaim control over our destinies.

“Echoes,” is a seductive glimpse into the darker aspects of life. It is an introspective electronic ballad dealing with Mercy’s own personal mental health struggles in regards to disassociation and suicidal thoughts. “It’s a super personal song I wrote and recorded in Matera, Italy while I was filming The Book of Clarence. While I had so many amazing things happening in my life I was struggling terribly. It was hard to explain being in such a beautiful place working on an amazing project and barely being able to leave my hotel.”

Mercy’s goal is to shed light on these struggles, reminding people that outward appearances can mask deep inner pain, and to offer hope to those facing their own battles. “Most people only see the surface, but deep inside are the echoes. Mental health is complicated and I hope if you struggle with it like I do this song resonates with you and helps you feel less alone. Keep going.”

“Fucked Up With You,” is a contemplative journey through love. It is a melodious ballad infused with EDM elements that brings you into a futuristic cyberpunk realm of circuit board hearts. It is a melodic dubstep love song about transcending binary boundaries. The accompanying music video, shot in an abandoned train subway, further amplifies the narrative by immersing the viewer in a dystopian cyberpunk future. This dystopian landscape serves as a metaphorical canvas, depicting queer love as it finds sanctuary amidst the neon shadows cast by artificial intelligence and circuit board hearts. The setting poignantly reflects the intricacies of the portrayed relationship, offering a profound commentary on love’s ability to thrive in even the most unconventional of circumstances.

Mercy is deeply engaged in the LGBTQ+ and alternative community, supporting various LGBTQ+ organizations. “As a Pansexual woman married to a man, I believe that everyone should have the right to marry the person they love.” For the last three consecutive years, she has illuminated the stage at Ibiza Pride, growing and evolving with each passing year as she to hones her craft and cultivates her unique style. Her magnetic presence captivates audiences, leaving them in awe of her talent and passion for performance. “2023 was an amazing year, with being asked to headline Ibiza Pride’s main stage and perform a special guest show at the famous La Troya Club . It was truly a mind-boggling experience! The energy! The excitement! The music!”

In addition to her other commitments, Mercy has been keeping busy with her flourishing film career. In addition to her work on 6 Underground starring Ryan Reynolds and The Matrix Resurrections starring Keanu Reeves, she also had the chance to join the cast of Blue Beetle by DC Comics/Warner Bros. “I was honored to participate in a significant step forward for Latino films. This film starring Xolo Maridueña and Becky G was warmly welcomed by both critics and audiences. It’s an excellent example of the outstanding work being produced, directed and starring Latinos. Plus, it’s a great superhero movie!”

Mercy also made a guest appearance in The Book Of Clarence showcasing her skills in fire breathing and fire dancing. Written and directed by Jeymes Samuel, The Book of Clarence effectively utilizes humor to illuminate aspects of our world that are not as they should be. It delves into important themes including police brutality, imperial oppression, knowledge vs. faith, and the role of religion in our lives. It offers profound insights into contemporary issues and invites reflection on our behaviours. Additionally, it explores intriguing perspectives on faith identity and the influence of beliefs on individuals.

Mercy will be starring in the independent film The Mermaid of Marbella directed by Garrett Grant in Mexico City and Acapulco. In her portrayal of Marbella/Rebecca, a singing circus performer who desires to reclaim her ethereal grace, Mercy brings her own personal familiarity to the role. Lured into the dark world of entertainment by promises of fame, Marbella falls in love with a forlorn fisherman (played by the renowned Latino actor Jorge Jimenez) shrouded in sorrow for a family he once lost. The movie is set to be released later this year with Mercy also contributing four original songs for the film.

Mercy’s next film project will be in the forthcoming horror film You Lose You Die, directed by Carlos Spiff Suarez. Mercy has just been announced as part of the cast playing the character of Darling. This production also stars Freddy Rodríguez (known for his role in Six Feet Under) and WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair. This milestone marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in Mercy’s film career.
