Clémentine Campardou aka Blule is a Paris-born illustrator. After working in the corporate world for brands like L’Oreal and Fila, the current Sydney, Australia resident decided that she missed painting. The wife and mother of two has made quite a name for herself with her watercolor art and has even earned a following among comic book enthusiasts for her sophisticated superhero originals.
Fans, friends and family marked the first anniversary of Prince’s passing with an epic four-day celebration at Prince’s Paisley Park in Chanhassen, Minnesota. Two thousand Prince fans from around the world gathered April 20th to 23rd to enjoyed live performances, panel discussions, exclusive concert screenings and guided tours during Celebration 2017.
Prince would transcend exactly a week after performing two Piano And A Microphone shows at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta.
On January 21, 1987 Prince, along with Eric Leeds on sax, released his jazz-instrumental project 8 on Paisley Park Records.
All eight tracks were written or co-written by Prince, and all contain him playing most instruments, with Eric Leeds playing saxophone and flute. All tracks are given written numerical names, from One to Eight, while the album is named numerically.
Prince fans from all over the world are remembering and celebrating the life of a legend on his birthday.
Prince was born on June 7, 1958 in Minneapolis and transitioned on April 21, 2016 at his Paisley Park estate in Chanhassen, Minnesota. Prince would have been 58 on June 7. Today, the Minnesota government (finally) honored the legend with his own day.
I have been immersing myself (whenever I can) in his albums, his films, and his presence. It has been so interesting reading about him. He is fascinating and truly gifted in so many ways. It is such a treat to listen to his music that he blessed us with. Such eclectic, amazing music – from his soul in every way, from him writing and producing, to being able to play every instrument.
