Stonecarving and sculting by James Lamb

James Lamb started carving in his workshop in 2013 and since that
time has designed and produced a handful of pieces in three types of
limestone using various techniques in this fascinating and ancient
craft. James carves in his workshop located in historic Lincoln, only a
few minutes walk from the cathedral and castle and many other Roman
carvings scattered through the city.

Below is the stages of making a Gothic cathedral ceiling boss in limestone.
